I am a special education attorney who has, over the years, been a special education teacher, parent, advocate, P & A attorney, state legal specialist/dispute resolution coordinator/complaint investigator, school district attorney, and most recently 504 coordinator and special education compliance manager for a school district.  I truly treasure my colleagues across the state and elsewhere.
